Wildlife

Daisyfields is situated north of the town and is part of a natural clearing between the development of the town and the new homes being built on the north of the A259. As such it provides some rare open space for the local wildlife, often forgotten in the haste to develop and build new houses.

These are just some of the visitors to our site that will have to find a new home if plans to develop it into a housing estate are given the go ahead. Please make sure you sign our petition to keep Daisyfield as a campsite which you will find in the reception area

A new visitor to the site this year. Taken just after the snow in January 2010
